Promoting Cycling in Ireland

Cork city centre will be transformed into a temporary, living art gallery later today, as cyclists take part in the 'World Naked Bike Ride event'.50 artists will paint the cyclists who will then cycle through the city's streets. The aim is to demonstrate how vulnerable cyclists are on the roads. It is hoped to highlight opposition to the so-called 'car culture' and the world's dependence on fossil fuels.
